Aston Martin is celebrating the 60th anniversary of Aston Martin Works by announcing plans to offer six limited edition sports cars. All six models will be based on the Vanquish and be tailored to reflect one of the six decades being celebrated.
The first model was unveiled today and it features a white exterior with Anniversary Yellow side strakes and two-tone alloy wheels.
The unique styling continues in the cabin as there's two-tone seats, contrast yellow stitching and "heavy weave" carbon fiber trim. The model also has special sill plates and a bespoke rotary knob which was created from metal used in a previous Aston Martin engine.
Like the standard model, the Aston Martin Works 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Vanquish is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that develops 568 bhp (423 kW) and 464 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds before topping out at 200 mph (321 km/h).
