BMW has released a new promotional video that highlights the facelifted M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe.

While the cars look virtually identical to their predecessor, they feature a new front fascia with standard LED headlights. They also have 19- or 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

The cabin largely carries over and comes nicely equipped with Merino leather sport seats, a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and contrast stitching. Other notable highlights include an illuminated sill plates, an M-specific instrument cluster and an "iPhone-style Central Information Display."

Power is provided by a 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that develops 560 PS (412 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the cars to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds - 4.3 seconds for the M6 Convertible - before hitting an electrically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

If that's not fast enough, the Competition Package raises the output to 575 PS (423 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. This reduces the 0-100 km/h time by a tenth of a second across the range.
