According to reports out of the United Kingdom, BBC Worldwide has stuck a deal with Paramount Pictures and a property developer to create a massive theme park in Kent.

Dubbed the London Paramount Entertainment Resort, the £2 (€2.5 / $3.1) billion theme park will reportedly feature a variety of BBC-inspired attractions in order to "combine the glamour of Hollywood with the best of British culture."

The attractions and rides are still being discussed but sources have said they will likely be inspired by shows such as Doctor Who, Sherlock and Top Gear.

The project still faces a number of hurdles but, if everything pans out, the park could open in 2020.
