Female journalists from 15 countries have selected this year's winners of the Women's World Car of the Year awards.

Female journalists from 15 countries have selected this year's winners of the Women's World Car of the Year awards.

The judges were in charge of voting on ten different criteria: style, appeal, design, function, drive quality, storage, comfort, "wow" factor, sex appeal and value for money. The title for the supreme winner was obtained by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class as it managed to win its category (luxury) and collect the most points overall.

In the overall standings, in second place came the Audi A8 while the Tesla Model S was third. The female journalists were also asked to select a car "they would aspire to own" and they selected the Jaguar F-Type Coupe.

  • Family Car: Audi A3 Sedan
  • Sports Car: Audi S3
  • Economy Car: Honda Jazz/Fit
  • Luxury Car: Mercedes-Benz S-Class
  • Green Car: Tesla Model S
  • SUV: Range Rover Sport
  • Supreme Winner: Mercedes-Benz S-Class
  • Dream Car: Jaguar F-Type Coupe
