Chinese automakers have done it again as JAC has replicated the interior & exterior design of the Audi A6.

You probably know there's an ongoing dispute between Land Rover and Chinese automakers local automakers Jiangling Motors and Changan Auto concerning the Range Rover lookalike Landwind X7 and now another Chinese car maker has completely ripped off a design. JAC has copied the pre-facelift Audi A6 both inside and out and they even stole the name as their car will be commercialized with the "Refine A6" moniker.

There is no need for a side by side photo comparison between the two as the similarities are more than obvious and certainly the Chinese copycat isn't more refined than the original German mid-size executive sedan.

The JAC Refine A6 will go on sale next year with a modest turbocharged 1.5-liter developing 170 bhp (127 kW) and 251 Nm (185 lb-ft) as well as with a 2.0-liter turbo rated at 190 bhp (142 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) channeled to the wheels through a six-speed dual clutch. These are far from being impressive output figures taking into account the car is very big as it is 4995mm long, 1865mm wide and 1503mm tall, with a 2915mm wheelbase.

JAC's biggest sedan will carry a starting price of 180,000 yuan ($29,300 / €23,500 / £18,600) and go up to about 250,000 yuan ($40,600 / €32,600 / £25,900).
