Bentley is showcasing these days in Los Angeles the Grand Convertible concept which they describe as being the "ultimate expression of British automotive luxury."

Basically a convertible Mulsanne, the concept represents Bentley's announcement that a new Azure is on the way with a retractable soft top and a very familiar design both inside and out. The concept seen here has received a Sequin Blue body paint complemented by "liquid metal" accents on the A pillars and hood.

Stepping inside the cabin, the Grand Convertible concept has received diamond quilted leather upholstery with Sequin Blue accent stitching and a Burr Walnut tonneau cover featuring chrome steel parallel lines.

Motivation is provided by a V8 6.75-liter engine churning 530 bhp (395 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). There's no word about the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint and top speed but Bentley says the vehicle delivers "effortless performance to match its unparalleled style."
