Featuring a rear-wheel drive layout, the Twingo is an agile city car which is about to become even more interesting as a powerful version is being prepared for next year's launch. Likely to get the GT badge, the hotter Twingo will receive an aggressive body complemented by larger wheels, dual exhaust setup, uprated brakes, rear diffuser and a lowered sports suspension.

There's no word about what will power the Twingo GT but chances are it will be the three-cylinder, 0.9-liter turbocharged gasoline engine which will be upgraded from the series 90 HP (66 kW) to somewhere in the region of 120 HP (88 kW).

Since the Renault Twingo shares its platform with the Smart ForTwo, it shouldn't come as a surprise there will also be a hot version of the ForTwo (and ForFour) tweaked by Brabus slated to come out sometime in 2015 with probably very similar output.
