Following yesterday's reveal, Toyota has disclosed pricing information for the 2016 Mirai (US-spec).

Toyota says that after introducing the original Prius, they have once again "reimagined the future of mobility" with the Mirai which represents basically a production version of last year's FCV concept. The model is slated to go on sale starting fall 2015 at first in California and will have a base price of $57,500 but thanks to various state & federal incentives, the price could drop by as much as $13,000 so some buyers could get it for somewhere around $44,500.

Toyota is also offering a lease program which allows customers to get the 2016 Mirai for $499 / month on a 36-month contract and with $3,649 due at signing. Both options will grant the owner with a "360-degree Ownership Experience" providing advantages such as 24/7 concierge service, 24/7 enhanced roadside assistance, 8-year / 100,000-mile warranty, three years of Toyota Care maintenance and complimentary hydrogen fuel for up to three years.

Promising a range of up to 300 miles (483 km) and a five-minute full refill, the 2016 Toyota Mirai fuel cell vehicle has a maximum output of 153 bhp (114 kW) and will need 9 seconds to cover the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint while the 25-40 mph (40-64 km/h) run will take 3 seconds.
