Fiat has released a comprehensive photo gallery with the recently introduced 500X.
Set to go on sale in the first half of next year, the model was officially presented during the Paris Motor Show earlier this year. It will receive its North American premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. The company says the model will be manufactured in the updated SATA plant in Melfi, Italy, and sold in more than 100 countries worldwide.
The 500X will be available in two variants. The first one will be more stylish and will be offered in Pop, Popstar and Lounge trim levels, while the second one will have a more rugged look and will come in Cross and Cross Plus trim grades.
At launch, the engine line-up will feature the petrol 140 HP (104 kW) 1.4 Turbo MultiAir II with a front-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual gearbox, the 120 HP (90kW) 1.6 MultiJet II in the same version and the 140 HP (104 kW) 2.0 MultiJet II with the company’s new 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive.
Later the range will be completed by a 110 HP (82 kW) 1.6 E-torQ with a 5-speed manual and FWD, a 170 HP (127 kW) 1.4 Turbo MultiAir II with a 9-speed automatic and an AWD and a 184 HP (137 kW) Tigershark 2.4-liter unit.
Diesel fans can opt for a 95 HP (70 kW) 1.3 MultiJet II and a 140 HP (104 kW) 2.0 MultiJet II, working with 5- or 6-speed manual transmissions and an all-wheel drive.
