Ford Racing has unveiled the new and improved Hot Wheels Rip Rod concept.

Originally unveiled as a static concept at last year's SEMA Motor Show, the car has now been equipped with a working powertrain that features a 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine. There's no word on specifications but the engine produces 205 PS (151 kW / 202 hp) in the Formula Ford.

The car was built with the assistance of Mattel and Bandito Brothers and it's possible that the updated concept could be displayed at SEMA next month.
