The driver of a white Lamborghini Countach replica ran out of gas on Tower Bridge and decided to abandon the fake supercar.

It happened on Wednesday evening at around 6:30 PM when the iconic 80s supercar lookalike ran out of fuel and the driver decided to just leave it there. The local police traced the driver through the car's license plate - which was actually registered to a Land Rover – and found out he was wanted for harassment. He was shortly apprehended and is now in jail and aside from facing imprisonment he will also have to pay a fine for using the license plate on a different car.

Although not that easily detectable, this is actually a replica according to EVO Magazine founder Harry Metcalfe who actually owns a Lamborghini Countach. Maybe this explains why the license plate was registered to a black 2007 Range Rover.
