After last month's online reveal, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the 2015 B-Class facelift in Paris.

There's not much to talk about in terms of visual tweaks as the compact MPV has kept most of the design but there's a lightly updated front grille and DRLs incorporated in the headlight cluster. For more money clients will be able to get the B-Class with LED High Performance headlamps but these aren't compatible with the Electric Drive version which has received the same cosmetic treatment. Moving at the back, there are now bi-color LED taillights along with a lightly revised bumper incorporating the exhaust pipes that have a trapezoidal form.

The base B 180 offers 122 PS and 200 Nm from its four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine which develops 156 HP and 250 Nm in the B 200. A larger 2.0-liter engine with 184 HP and 300 Nm is inside the B 220 4MATIC while the B 250 rewards buyers with 211 HP and 350 Nm. The diesel range kicks off with a 1.5-liter sourced from Renault offering 90 HP and 240 Nm inside the B 160 CDI and continues with 109 HP and 260 Nm in the B 180 CDI. The B 200 CDI is motivated by a 2.1-liter with 136 HP and 300 Nm whereas the B 220 CDI produces 177 HP and 350 Nm.

Moving onto the B-Class Electric Drive, it has a 180 HP & 340 Nm electric motor which provides the vehicle with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 7.9 seconds before topping out at 99 mph (160 km/h). It can travel for up to 85 miles (137 km) before the 28 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is depleted and after that you can charge it for two hours to get a 60 mile (96 km) range. A full recharge takes three and a half hours using a 240V charger.

Scheduled to hit dealerships on November 29, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class facelift carries a starting price in Germany of €27,102.25.
