IMSA has unveiled their new tuning program for the Mercedes S63 AMG.
Looking tastefully restrained, the car has been equipped with a carbon fiber body kit that includes a front lip spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts and a new rear diffuser. The sedan also has 21-inch forged alloy wheels and CNC machined exhaust tips which are constructed out of a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum.
Customers can also order a bespoke interior with premium leather and Alcantara upholstery as well as carbon fiber or exotic wood trim.
Under the hood, the twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine has been equipped with an optimized ECU which increases the output from 585 PS (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) to 720 PS (529 kW) and 1080 Nm (796 lb-ft) of torque. IMSA declined to say how car the car is but the standard S63 AMG can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
