The cheapest Beetle money can buy nowadays in the United States comes with 17-inch Heritage alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. On the inside it gets leather-wrapped shifter knob and handbrake lever together with a multifunction steering wheel and navigation system. It can be ordered with a Pure White, Reflex Silver or Black Uni paint combined with two-tone brown Sioux leatherette upholstery featuring checked cloth seating surfaces while the driver's side seat benefits from side lumbar support.

Opt for the Beetle Convertible Classic and the price increases to $25,995 and you get the same level of equipment. Both of them are powered by a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter TSI engine outputting 170 bhp (127 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque delivered to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. This hardware setup enables the coupe return 33 mpg while the convertible is a tad thirstier since it will do 32 mpg.

The 2015 Volkswagen Beetle Classic limited edition is scheduled to go on sale later this week in both coupe and convertible flavors.
