Dacia has revealed a facelifted Duster SUV for the UK market
First, the manufacturer has announced that from now on production of right-hand drive Dusters will move from the Chennai plant in India to the home factory of Pitesti in Romania.
The model has received a package of styling and trim upgrades for the 2015 model year. The list includes a new chrome radiator grille, tweaked headlights and Duster-branded roof bars.
On the back, a black tailgate trim sits above the number plate, while the Lauréate versions have been equipped with new 16-inch alloy wheels, body-colored door handles and dark metal door mirror casings. Five new metallic colors will be added – Mercury, Khaki, Pearl Black, Slate Grey and Cinnamon.
The most-affordable SUV in Britain will continue to be marketed at unchanged prices. This means the base Access model is rated at less than £9,500 (12,000 EUR) and under £11,500 (14,600 EUR) for the four-wheel-drive version. The engine range consist of a 1.6 16V petrol unit with 105 HP (77 kW) and a 1.5 dCi with 110 HP (81 kW).
