Independent designer r82 workchop has released a new impressive rendering, this time showing us a possible look for the BMW M4 CLS.
In an interview from earlier this year BMW's Matt Collins confirmed the Bavarian company is not planning a CSL version “or anything like a CSL either”.
However, some reports have indicated the manufacturer could offer an M4 GTS modification, similar in its conception to the CSL. A prototype of a possible M4 GTS was recently spied by our photographers.
Little is known about the model but reportedly it could feature additional carbon fiber and aluminum components which could enable it to tip the scales at less than 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs). For comparison, the standard M4 weighs 1,572 kg (3,465 lbs).
The lightweight sports coupe is rumored to have a sportier suspension and a stripped out interior with lightweight racing seats. Most likely it will also receive a set of new bespoke alloy wheels.
