We've these rumors first popped out a month ago, Car & Driver is following up on those claims by reporting the next-generation model will have a range-topping Zora ZR1 variant which will use a brand-new mid-engine architecture. Little is known about the car but it will reportedly feature an aluminum space frame, additional composite materials and a small block V8 engine.

The car will reportedly be launched as a 2017 model and cost roughly $150,000.
