It was only yesterday when Jaguar officially unveiled the all-new XE sedan and now we have an interesting virtual project for an SVR high-performance version of the model.

This impressive work is done by X-Tomi, who explains the vehicle could fight the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the BMW M3/M4. The Hungarian designer called the sports sedan the XE RS, but according to a recent report, most likely it will wear the XE SVR moniker.

Rumored to arrive by early 2016, the XE SVR could be powered by the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine from the F-Type S tuned to 489 bhp (364 kW). Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, this unit will enable the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around four seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
