Citroen has released the first official pictures of the C3-XR small crossover.
Previewed by the C-XR concept at the Beijing Motor Show in April, the vehicle will be fully unveiled at the Guangzhou Motor Show in November before going on sale a few weeks later. It will be produced in China by the Citroën & Dongfeng Motor Group joint venture.
Little is known about the compact SUV, but according to recent reports it is based on the Peugeot 2008. The C3-XR will likely be powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.8-liter petrol engine with an unspecified output and by a beefier 1.6-liter turbo with 163 bhp (122 kW).
