A mysterious Koenigsegg Agera R has been spied undergoing testing on the Nürburgring.

Possibly a special edition, the prototype has a familiar appearance but is distinguished by new side mirrors which are borrowed from the One:1. Additional changes are limited but the front splitter says "Test Driving Unit" while there's "Development Car" stickers in front of the rear wheels.

Little else is known about the model but the standard Agera R has a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 1140 PS (838 kW) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the car to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
