Ford has disclosed pricing details for the Focus facelift sold in UK where it kicks off at 13,995 GBP for the base Studio trim.
The facelifted Focus made its debut back in March at the Geneva Motor Show and now Ford has announced pricing information ahead of the model's November availability in showrooms. The entry-level Studio model has remained the same at 13,955 GBP and is followed by Style (16,795 GBP), Zetec (18,295 GBP), Zetec S (20,045 GBP), Titanium (19,795 GBP) and the range-topping Titanium X (21,795 GBP). Both Titanium versions are now 100 GBP cheaper compared to the outgoing equivalents.
Aside from the obvious styling tweaks, the revised Focus is Ford's first model to come with a hands-free perpendicular parking system. It also features the SYNC2 infotainment system with an eight-inch color display and voice control for accessing a wide variety of functions like climate control, navigation and audio.
Focus facelift owners will also take advantage of the MyKey technology giving them the possibility to program the car’s key for restricting top speed, reducing maximum audio volume and other similar settings.
More importantly, the Ford Focus facelift range has gained a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with 182 PS (134 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft). It has the same output as the previous 1.6-liter EB unit but provides seven percent better fuel economy and CO2 emissions lowered to 127 g/km. There's also a new 1.5-liter diesel engine with 120 PS (88 kW) promising to cut fuel consumption by 10 percent and CO2 emissions from 109 g/km to 98 g/km compared to the previous 115 PS 1.6 TDCi.
