A 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG prototype has been spied undergoing final testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

It won't be long until we will get to see the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Sedan and Estate as the models will allegedly be revealed online on September 24. Both will share a newly developed V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine which will be seen at first in the AMG GT where it will be offered with 462 PS (340 kW) and 510 PS (375 kW). However, in the C63 AMG the motor will develop 476 PS (350 kW). There are also talks about a C63-S derivative packing a 510 PS (375 kW) along with a slightly more aggressive body and larger brakes.

The prototype seen here wears very little disguise since we all know how the new C63 AMG will end up looking, like a tastefully restrained high performance machine featuring a lowered and stiffer sports suspension, muscular wheel arches and beefier vents. It will also have enlarged alloy wheels and a quad exhaust arrangement while the interior cabin will also receive several changes, including a 320 km/h speedometer, AMG seats, revised steering wheel and selectable driving modes.

Following its online debut, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Sedan and Estate will be shown in public early October at the Paris Motor Show. The new C63 AMG lineup will be expanded in the future with similar versions of the yet unreleased coupe and cabriolet body styles.
