Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has confirmed their upcoming SCG 003C will feature a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine.

The company declined to elaborate but downplayed a recent article by Jalopnik which suggested the engine would be sourced from Honda. While SCG didn't exactly deny using a Honda-sourced powertrain they stated "[The] SCG 003C's race engine will be developed by SCG. We have NOT announced what it may be based on." The company went on to confirm it will be a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 which will be "badged" as an SCG engine.

The company went on to say the road-going variant will be offered with several engines but not the aforementioned twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6.

There's no word on specifications but the company says "We remain hopeful that both our race version and our road version will have sufficient HP, low enough weight and impressive aerodynamic efficient to get the job done."
