Infiniti has released a promotional clip for the Q50 Eau Rouge prototype which will likely enter production in the months to come.

The Q50 Eau Rouge has evolved from being a simple show-off concept to a pre-production car which sooner or later will eventually reach the assembly line. Even in the attached video at the end it says the vehicle is "not currently for sale", hinting that market availability is nearby. Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen declared recently the high performance Q50 could have a short two-year lifespan during which it will be built in a limited number.

If green-lighted for production the Q50 Eau Rouge will cost approximately 100,000 USD, but Infiniti "might subsidize each car in order to keep it within reach", according to de Nysschen. It will look virtually the same as the prototype and should carry over the Nissan GT-R-sourced twin-turbo V6 3.8-liter rated at 560 bhp (417 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft). As a reminder, the concept was 8 bhp (6 kW) more potent.
