New details are starting to emerge about the Opel Corsa OPC / Vauxhall Corsa VXR.

According to Autobild, the model will likely use the company's turbocharged 1.6-liter SIDI four-cylinder engine that produces 200 PS (147 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. While nothing is official, the magazine says this will enable the hatchback to hit a top speed of roughly 220 km/h (136 mph).

Besides the upgraded engine, we can expect an aggressive body kit that includes modified bumpers and sportier side skirts. The car could also have a sport-tuned suspension, beefier brakes and unique alloy wheels.

The Corsa OPC / VXR is expected to be introduced early next year, so look for a possible debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
