Kia has slightly updated the Soul for the 2015 model year.
Completely redesigned in 2014, the car is already on sale and enters its new model year with a number of improvements. These include a new UVO1 eServices Package with four new features (Geo-fencing, Speed Alert, Curfew Alert and Driving Score2) for the Base version. This kit is standard on the Plus and on the Exclaim models and offers access to traffic and weather information, fuel prices, sports scores, stock information and many more.
The range-topping trim level is receiving the Fathrom Blue or Cloud White exterior colors along with the new interior Umber Color Package that’s adding Nappa leather seats and black inserts for the steering wheel for an extra 670 EUR ($900).
The Base model will still be powered by a 1.6-liter GDI engine rated at 130 bhp (97 kW) and 118 lb-ft (160 Nm) of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic. The upper trim levels have a 2.0-liter GDI with 164 bhp (122 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), available exclusively with the six-speed automatic gearbox.
