A Lamborghini Aventador spontaneously combusted on the Autobahn in Germany shortly after getting its engine replaced.

For reasons still unknown at the moment, this orange Lamborghini Aventador went through an engine replacement which is a bit peculiar since the model is fairly new as production started in 2011. Shortly after receiving a new V12 6.5-liter engine with 700 PS (515 kW), the vehicle was taken out for a test drive on the Autobahn in Germany.

However, it didn't go as expected since something went wrong and the engine overheated and then caught fire and expanded onto the rest of the car quite fast. The firefighters did their best to arrive as soon as possible to put out the fire but it was too late for the Lamborghini flagship as the flames obliterated the vehicle beyond repair.
