Bentley is analyzing the prospects of introducing a bespoke division tailored to the company's high-end customers.

In the last few years, many automakers have launched their own bespoke divisions and now Bentley is taking into consideration doing the same thing as a method to attract more high-end customers with deep pockets. Kevin Rose, a member of Bentley's board of sales and marketing said he loves this idea of creating a one-off vehicle specifically designed for a customer willing to pay more for a truly unique car.

In an interview to Auto Express, Rose was asked what Bentley would do if a client came with 5M GBP to spend for a unique car. He said such a project is possible but it depends on the client's preferences and the applicable legislation, adding that laws in the Middle East are far more relaxed than in Europe.

As a reminder, other car companies that opened up bespoke divisions lately include McLaren (MSO), JLR (SVO) and Aston Martin (Q). In addition, Ferrari's own division has been more active in recent years with cars such as the SP12 EC, F12 TRS, SP America and others.
