Smart is gearing up for the launch of the new ForTwo and ForFour by kicking off a new marketing campaign called "FOR."
While this wouldn't ordinarily be newsworthy, the campaign features the company's new logo which is being described as "more self-confident and modern in character." The overall design is instantly recognizable but Smart says the brand ring is "larger and radiates more strongly than before" and the brand name is "more succinct and therefore more significant and visible."
Besides introducing the new logo, the company confirmed plans to unveil the ForTwo and ForFour in July. Smart didn't have much to say about the cars but confirmed they will have fresh design with extremely short overhangs and unrivalled spaciousness. Smart went on to say the ForFour will be a "totally new interpretation of the four-seater concept" as it "augments the Smart product portfolio as an intelligent, urban vehicle for four people and demonstrates with a fresh design and innovative ideas that practical cars can also embody a distinctive character."
