Jay Kay brought his brand new LaFerrari painted in Kermit Green this past weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

One of the 499 units to be produced, Jay Kay's LaFerrari made an appearance in the Michelin Supercar Paddock at Goodwood where it was parked alongside a red LaFerrari and the one-off F12 TRS. The Kermit Green paint is certainly an unusual hue for Ferrari's latest flagship model but it shouldn't come as a surprise as Jay Kay also has a unique 330 GT Shooting Brake by Vignale wearing the same paint.

When asked about the media about his color choice, Jay Kay said "I chose the green paint because it was different. We talked about it and I thought about silver, but the Enzo is black and green and this is green and black. It was just something I traditionally do. I like green cars, I like green interiors."

Also at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Jay Kay expressed his appreciation for a very different type of car, the Volkswagen XL1, but didn't specify whether he is willing to actually pay the hefty 110,000 EUR price tag for the 313 mpg UK (261 mpg US or 0.9 liters / 100 km) hybrid.
