We've been talking about the Range Rover Sport RS for months but the company has just revealed the model will wear the SVR moniker when it is unveiled tomorrow.

Designed to the sportier Range Rover ever created, the SVR will be distinguished by an aggressive front fascia with a mesh grille and larger air intakes. The model will also feature a sporty rear diffuser that is flanked by a four-tailpipe exhaust system. We can also expect a sport-tuned suspension and massive alloy wheels that are backed up by a high-performance braking system.

Land Rover is keeping details a closely guarded secret but the model is expected to feature a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 PS (405 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. This is 40 PS (29 kW) and 55 Nm (40 lb-ft) more than the Range Rover Sport Supercharged, so the Range Rover Sport SVR should accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds.
