According to a recent report, Audi has plans to offer a full-range of high-performance electric vehicles.

Things will reportedly kick off in 2015 when the company finally launches the R8 e-tron. As you may recall, the model was originally slated to go on sale in 2012 but was put on hold due to concerns over its limited range of just 215 km (134 miles).  However, those problems have been fixed and the new R8 e-tron will be built on demand and have a range of approximately 450 km (279 miles).

Two sources also told Reuters that the company is developing high-performance sedans and crossovers with electric powertrains. Details are limited but one the models is believed to be an electric version of the Q8.
