Chevrolet has released some new details about the Camaro that will portray Bumblebee in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

According to the automaker, Michael Bay asked GM's design team to give Bumblebee a "more aggressive and muscular" look for the movie. The project was handed by the North Hollywood Design Center and they created a one-off Camaro with a new fascia and "bulked up sides."

The team also worked on several other cars for the movie including a Sonic rally car and a Corvette Stingray that will play Crosshairs.

Several GM facilities will also be featured in the film as scenes were shot at the Milford Proving Grounds, the Delta Township Assembly Plant and the GM Design Center in Warren, Michigan.
