Land Rover has released another short teaser clip for the Range Rover Sport RS (name not confirmed) set to be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Get ready for "the fastest most agile Land Rover" as a hotter Range Rover Sport will be revealed next week. Compared to the current range-topping Supercharged version, the RS will likely pack an extra 40 PS (29 kW) and 55 Nm (40 lb-ft) so the V8 5.0-liter will probably end up generating 550 PS (405 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft).

The extra power combined with other mechanical upgrades will allow the RS version reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 4.8 seconds prior to hitting a top speed of approximately 165 mph (265 km/h), not too shabby for a vehicle that weighs no less than 5,093 lbs (2,310 kg) in the 510 PS Supercharged V8 guise.

Aside from the additional muscle, the Range Rover Sport RS will pack a stiffer suspension setup along with larger wheels, uprated brakes while at the back it will have four exhaust pipes and a prominent diffuser.

This year's Goodwood FoS is programmed for June 26-29.
