Oettinger has introduced their expanded tuning program for the Volkswagen Golf R.

On the styling front, the hot hatch can be equipped with a new front spoiler, revised side skirts and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. Customers can also order high-performance brakes, a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels.

More meaningful changes occur under the hood as the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is equipped with a larger turbocharger and an optimized ECU. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 400 PS (294 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 100 PS (73 kW) and 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 4.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of roughly 280 km/h (174 mph).

If that's too fast, the company also offers tamer performance packages with output of 360 PS (264 kW) and 380 PS (279 kW).
