Fiat officials have announced plans to reorganize Lancia which will sell cars only at home in Italy.

At the beginning of the year we heard a rumor about Lancia being turned into an Italy-only brand and this will actually happen as Fiat's Alfredo Altavilla (Chief Operating Officer for Europe, Africa and Middle East) said yesterday during the presentation of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' plans the objective is to "reorganize the network coherently with Lancia becoming an Italy-driven brand."

Moreover, Lancia will axe the Delta, Thema and Voyager which means the Ypsilon will be their sole offering and only in Italy. Chances are the current generation of the Ypsilon will be phased out around 2018 and at that point Lancia could be axed altogether.
