According to a recent report, the Mercedes GL will be offered with a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine.

Set to wear the GL 400 moniker, the crossover will reportedly use the company's twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 333 PS (245 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. It should enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). Unfortunately, it isn't exactly eco-friendly as it consumes 9.2 L/100km (25.5 mpg US / 30.7 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions of 215 g/km.

The GL 400 is reportedly available to order in Germany and pricing starts at €76,160.
