Peugeot has disclosed UK pricing information for the second generation 108 set to go on sale July 1st.

Described as being a "sophisticated and chic city car", Peugeot's new 108 can be had not only as a hatchback with three or five doors but also as a cabriolet in the 108 TOP! version. All three derivatives are being offered with a wide array of customization options including many body colors, themes, trims and ambiences.

UK buyers can choose from four trim levels: Access, Active, Allure and Feline. Pricing kicks off at 8,245 GBP and in return customers are rewarded with LED DRLs, USB/AUX support, remote central locking, six airbags and ESP. Opt for Active (from 9,495 GBP) and you also get body-colored door handles and mirrors, AC, seven-inch touchscreen display with DAB and Bluetooth, as well as a height-adjustable driver's seat.

The Allure trim (from 10,995 GBP) brings 15-inch alloys, automatic headlights and front fog lights, along with a reversing camera and electric heated mirrors. This version also comes with leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob as well as keyless entry & engine start/stop button. Lastly, the range-topping Feline (from 11,845 GBP) includes dual-zone automatic climate control, chrome mirrors and door handles and leather upholstery.

Peugeot is offering 68 bhp 1.0-liter and a 82 bhp 1.2-liter PureTech engines, with both of them working with a standard five-speed manual gearbox while the smaller engine can also get an optional semi-automatic 2-Tronic transmission.
