Revealed online last week, the facelifted 2015MY Ford Focus Sedan has made its first public appearance at New York Auto Show.

After the Mondeo/Fusion and Fiesta received the Aston Martin-inspired front grille, time has arrived for the Focus to benefit from the same treatment. The headlights were also altered while at the back the changes are less significant as Ford decided to maintain pretty much the same look.

The facelifted Focus will be offered in United States with a standard rearview camera that will be combined with either a 4.2- or a larger 8-inch touchscreen. Several assistance systems have been added to help out the driver and the list of tweaks continues with a revised center console, different cup holders and reshaped seats.

More important are the chassis and suspension upgrades and the addition of an SE Sport Package that includes 17-inch alloys, body kit, firmer suspension and paddle shifters if you opt for the automatic transmission. There's also the familiar 1.0-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost which works in collaboration with a 6-speed manual.

Ford has announced the facelifted Focus ST will be unveiled in the following months.
