MG is celebrating their 90th anniversary by introducing the Dynamo concept.

Created at SAIC's European Design and Technical Center, the Dynamo is an electric vehicle that "encompasses the latest in design and engineering technology."  The company didn't go into specifics but said the concept was created to "fully understand European market demand for a small, electric MG."

Despite the lack of details, we can see the concept is a three-door hatchback that has a front fascia which echoes the Nissan Leaf. The model also has LED fog lights, a sloping roofline and five-spoke alloy wheels.

Motivation is provided by a small electric motor that produces 70 bhp (52 kW) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the 1080 kg (2381 lb) concept to accelerate from 0-50 km/h (0-31 mph) in 5.3 seconds and travel approximately 80 km (49.7 miles) on a single charge. When the battery is depleted, it can be 80 percent replenished in 30 minutes or fully recharged in six hours.
