Dodge is showcasing these days in New York the 2015 Challenger facelift alongside the updated Charger.

While the Charger has received quite a few significant updates, the 2015MY Challenger comes with more subtle changes such as the split front grille, bigger power bulge, projector fog lights, along with split LED taillights and a reshaped rear valence panel. Rounding off the exterior changes are new body paints and several fresh alloy wheels.

The main highlight of the interior is an 8.4-inch touchscreen display part of the Uconnect infotainment system along with a 7-inch customizable screen flanked by the retro-looking tachometer and speedometer. Several safety features have been added such as forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and rear cross path detection. Dodge is also introducing an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic gearbox which comes standard on the SXT and is optional on the other trims.

The 2015MY Challenger will be available with a 6.4-liter Scat Pack powered by a V8 6.4-liter engine delivering 485 bhp (362 kW) and 475 lb-ft (643 Nm) sent to the ground through either a 6-speed manual or the 8-speed auto with paddle shifters. Other goodies include bespoke 20-inch alloys, Brembo braking system, HID headlights, bumblebee tail stripe and a glossy black grille surround.

The Scat Pack Shaker model can be had with 5.7- or 6.4-liter V8 engines and adds a Super Track Pack suspension kit with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, sport seats and a black graphics package. Also on the list are a functional hood scoop and a cold-air intake.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger facelift is programmed to go on sale towards the end of the year.
