Hyundai has introduced the 2015 Sonata at the New York Auto Show.

Set to go on sale in the United States this summer, the entry-level model features a stylish exterior with LED daytime running lights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and 16-inch aluminum wheels.

The interior is a little plain but comes nicely equipped with air conditioning, a tilt / telescopic steering wheel and premium cloth seats. The model has also LED interior lights, power windows / locks and iPod/USB/AUX/Bluetooth connectivity.

The moving up to the Sport adds a new front fascia, a revised grille and additional chrome trim. The entry-level Sport has a dual exhaust system and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the Sport 2.0T has a four-tailpipe exhaust system and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The entry-level Sport also boasts additional standard equipment including faux carbon fiber trim, heated front seats and an 8-way power driver seat.

If that's not impressive enough, the Limited has most of the aforementioned equipment as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather seats and woodgrain trim. There's also an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated rear seats and a 6-way power front passenger seat.

Under the hood, two engines will be available. The 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder produces 185 bhp (138 kW) and 178 lb-ft (241 Nm) of torque, while the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder develops 245 bhp (182 kW) and 260 lb-ft(352 Nm) of torque. Both are connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which has a SHIFTRONIC manual shift mode.
