Jaguar has introduced the XFR-S Sportbrake at the Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to battle the Mercedes E63 AMG, the XFR-S Sportbrake is equipped with an aggressive body kit that includes a front splitter, modified bumpers, extended side skirts and a carbon fiber diffuser. The wagon also has gloss black accents and 20-inch Varuna-style wheels with high-performance Pirelli tires
The cabin comes nicely equipped with Warm Charcoal leather seats, embossed headrests and dark aluminum trim. Despite the emphasis on performance, the model has an impressive cargo capacity of up to 1675 liters (59 cubic feet) when the rear seats are folded down.
Power is provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the wagon to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
The model also has a retuned suspension, an electronic rear differential and a Dynamic Stability Control system which allows an "enthusiastic driver to make the most of the car's huge potential."
