According to a recent report, Maserati will introduce a GT concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

Designed to preview the company's entry-level sports car, the model will reportedly rival the Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911. Little else is known about the car but it could be equipped with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that produces 410 HP (310 kW) and a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 with 530 HP (390 kW).

The production model is expected to be launched in 2016 and ride on a shortened version of the platform that underpins the Ghibli and Quattroporte. Maserati has already confirmed it will be called the Gran Sport and cost approximately €80,000 ($109,790 / £66,040).
