Infiniti has announced plans to unveil the engine that powers the Q50 Eau Rouge concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

The company declined to go into specifics but confirmed the "almighty powertrain" has forced induction and a "big personality." That's pretty vague but Infiniti hinted the Eau Rouge is the most powerful model in their history.

According to Infiniti Johan de Nysschen, "With its Formula One-inspired carbon fiber bodywork, we thought it only fitting the Q50 Eau Rouge's beating heart was suitably sporting. Our engineers have perfectly captured the tone of Infiniti's take on premium performance, and a car that is as impressive as the Q50 Eau Rouge sounds is surely a car to challenge performance cars in the premium sector."
