Less than a week after its online unveiling, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has been caught on camera on public streets.

Looking considerably toned down than the concept, the S-Class Coupe production version still manages to impress with its sleek silhouette worthy of a model set to replace the successful CL-Class. Seen here is probably the S 500 Coupe variant powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine outputting 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.

One of the model's highlights is a curve tilting function for the MAGIC BODY CONTROL suspension which aims to reduce the lateral acceleration felt by the passengers. The S-Class Coupe can be optionally ordered with 47 Swarovski crystals in the headlights for a more elegant look, while on the inside there is a fresh "Super Sport" steering wheel.

The vehicle will get its proper official debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show and it's scheduled to reach dealerships in the second half of the year.
