MTV star Rob Dyrdek has set a new Guinness World Record for the "Farthest Reverse Ramp Jump by a Car."

Using a modified Chevrolet Sonic RS, Dyrdek was able to get the car to jump 89 feet and 3.25 inches (27.2 meters) on a specially constructed ramp at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

According to Dyrdek, "I have always been a Chevy guy, so when we decided we wanted to set a Guinness World Record for the finale of Fantasy Factory, using the Sonic again just made sense.”

As we have previously reported, the Sonic RS has a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 138 bhp (103 kW) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque.

The stunt will be shown on the season finale of Fantasy Factory which is set to air on March 13 at 10:30 p.m. EST on MTV.
