Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum has revealed the company is considering an F-Type Targa.

Speaking to Auto Express, Callum said "We're considering it, but it’s not definite.” He went on to say “The issue with the Targa is volume. If you think of Porsche, 10 percent of its cars are Targa, 10 percent of ours is less than theirs."

Little else is known about the proposed model but it would reportedly feature a retractable hard top similar to the one on the Porsche 911 Targa.

While the F-Type Targa remains up in the air, Callum confirmed the company is working on “three or four cars at the moment.” He declined to elaborate but our spies have recently snapped pictures of their entry-level sedan, mid-size crossover, XJ facelift and next-generation XF.
