Chinese media has managed to snap a few shots with the interior cabin of the MG CS compact crossover programmed to be unveiled in the following months.

MG's first ever crossover is getting ready for an official unveiling after last year's promising CS concept showed at the Beijing Motor Show. The same venue will likely be used for the production model which will have a considerably better interior cabin compared to the models before Nanjing Automobile Group took over.

The prototype spotted here came with an all-black leather upholstery while under the hood it probably had a 135 bhp (101 kW) 1.5-liter turbocharged engine since this will reportedly be the only motor available upon launch. Later on MG will introduce two newly developed turbocharged 1.4- and 2.0-liter engines which will be coupled to manual and dual-clutch transmissions.

Rumors are indicating the MG CS crossover is going to ride on the same platform as the SsangYong Korando from where it will borrow the 2650mm wheelbase. We will know more in April when MG will probably introduce the CS at Beijing Motor Show.
