XCAR had the special opportunity to ride shotgun in a Pagani Zonda S 7.3 driven by Horacio Pagani himself.

The car in question is the sixth Zonda ever made by Pagani and is an S 7.3 model with a carbon fiber body, the first ever to be exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show. At its heart is an AMG V12 7.3-liter engine delivering 555 HP (408 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque at 4,050 rpm. It has a dry weight of 1,280 kg so the power to weight ratio stands at 2.30 kg / hp.

In terms of performance, the Pagani Zonda S 7.3 will do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.7 seconds en route to a top speed of 220 mph (354 km/h).

The era of the Zonda has finally ended with the launch of the exclusive track-only Revolucion and now Pagani is focusing on the Huayra which can be had with a carbon fiber body priced at 112,500 EUR on top of the 1.05M EUR starting price.
